Deferred Adjudication

Deferred Adjudication:

(1) Plea Guilty

(2) Judge defers finding of guilt and puts you on "probation like conditions" - the length and type of conditions will vary depending on your charge.

(3) DISMISS - IF you successfully complete your conditions. If you violate your conditions, you go back to court and you are at the mercy of the judge. The judge may sentance you or put you back on deferred.

(4) Order of Non Disclosure - this will "seal" your record. The filing fees for this vary from county to county.
