Automatic Driver's License Suspension on Conviction of Miscellaneous Offenses

If you are convicted with one of the following offenses your Driver's License will be suspended for:
1. Certain sex offenses requiring registration (for failure to annually renew driver's license or identification)
a. automatically revoked until eligible person applies for original or renewal license
2. Graffiti
a. court may order department to suspend driver's license for 1 year
3. Purchase of alcohol of for a minor; furnishing alcohol to a minor.
a. 180 days if first offense
b. 1 year if subsequent offense
4. Tampering with governmental record (license plate, registration insignia, or safety-inspection certificate)
a. 2 years
5. Theft (with affirmative finding of motor fuel theft)
a. 180 days
b. 1 year if subsequent suspension
